Roberto E. Quijano, J.D.
Founder and managing attorney

Roberto E. Quijano is the founder and managing Attorney at the Quijano Law Firm,
PLLC. Roberto offers our clients a substantive amount of experience litigating immigration cases before both, detained and non-detained court, USCIS, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

Roberto began his career in Immigration Law working as law clerk for a retired immigration judge, where he began his practice as an Immigration Attorney after passing the Texas bar. Soon thereafter, Roberto worked in one of the largest immigration law firms in Houston, which required him to defend Immigrant’s rights daily in front of several judges, not only in Houston but across the United States. After gaining this invaluable experience, Roberto was retained by an up-and-coming firm to build and supervise their litigation department from the ground up. For several years, Roberto not only successfully defended several clients in immigration court, but he also supervised and trained new attorneys to defend clients in immigration court.
Roberto does not only have ample experience fighting for his clients’ immigration rights, but as a Salvadoran immigrant married to a Venezuelan immigrant, he knows firsthand how hard it can be to move to a new country, learn a new language, and fight for a better future. This, coupled with his experience in immigration defense, guarantees our client a committed and driven advocate for their rights.

In his personal time, Roberto is an adjunct professor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and a Pastor at his local Hispanic Church. Aditionally, Roberto enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his cat named Bruce Lee.
