Diana Herrera

Associate Attorney

Diana L. Herrera earned her Juris doctor degree with honors from Thurgood and
Marshall School of Law.  With over six years of experience in immigration law, she is a
dedicated attorney committed to helping individuals and families navigate the
complexities of the U.S. immigration system.

Born in Mexico and raised in Houston, Texas, Diana’s own immigration journey, and her
experience as a former DACA recipient, gives her a unique, deeply personal
understanding of the challenges her clients face.  She knows firsthand what it means to
navigate an uncertain legal process, and this personal connection fuels her passion for
advocacy.

Diana’s legal career in immigration began in 2018 when she worked as a legal assistant
at a large and reputable immigration law firm. In that role, she gained invaluable
experience preparing complex asylum applications and cancellation of removal cases.
While attending Thurgood Marshall School of Law she expanded her skills by
completing summer internships and clerkships, where she assisted individuals in
removal proceedings, family-based petitions, and other forms of relief. These
experiences equipped her with a well-rounded legal foundation in the immigration field.

Outside of her legal work, Diana cherishes time with her husband and family. She is
also actively involved in her church, where she serves in the youth ministry and as a
Sunday school teacher for adolescents.

With a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep commitment to her clients, Diana
brings both legal expertise and genuine empathy to every case she handles. She
believes in empowering her clients through compassionate and effective representation, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their legal journey.
